How would I find knife sales demographics?

Hello, I have a project due tomarro and it requires me to create a new object. My product is a variant of a knife. Being that, I need to know the annual sales and sales demographics for the Knife. I have been looking everywhere frantically and thought this would be my best bet. Thanks in advance. Please someone just give me a tip, its an easy 10 points

1. That is a tough one :) I've been collecting knives for hmm, 12 years now? Never seen any statistics like that ever. The closest I can tell you are random "how old are you" type threads on knifeforums.com and bladeforums.com. Here's one - http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=242783&highlight=age&page=8 It's not exactly a pool, but if you really need you can extract your data from there. Annual sales probably are somewhere in knife company info,so you'd have to research individual companies, but never seen something like total US knives sales thingy.
