For e bay sellers, What do you think of the new rules concerning seller feedback?

my daughter says the feedback is now only for buyers. That a seller can't leave feedback even if the payment is way late. Does it really work one way? If so I wonder how many sellers will now quit selling.

2. Yes, I just got a pop up on Ebay while leaving feedback for a seller. It said that sellers are no longer able to leave neutral or negative feedback for buyers.
3. My understanding of the new rules is that a seller can't leave negative feedback just to get back at a buyer who left negative feedback for the seller. If this is true, it's a good rule. I've seen sellers advertise that they leave negative feedback if negative feedback is left for them., which has prevented a lot of buyers from leaving honest feedback. I'm a seller, and I'm not quitting. In fact, I'm going to list some more things to sell in the next day or two.
4. What if the Buyer didnt get the item on time/it was not as described/broken whatever and leaves negative feedback. The seller would probably reply with a negative feedback for the buyer when he or she did nothing wrong. That would affect future buyers from trying to buy items from the buyer who did nothing wrong which = less profit for ebay. The new policy backs up the buyers and weeds out the bad sellers. Plain and Simple.
5. Its because buyers are worried about giving bad feedback to a sellers,because then sellers give bad feedback back,just to be awkward. Although bad or non payers are very annoying,its more annoying to buy from someone who does not send the goods or who does not send the correct goods.
6. They actually implemented this 2 days after I sent them an email about sellers leaving negative feedback for buyers in retaliation for feedback they have received. I'm sure others must have commented to them about it also, but I was pretty surprised when it happened :) I think that sellers should be able to leave buyers neutral feedback if they take a ton of time to make their payment, but I'm not sure how they could allow that without also sellers having the ability to give negative feedback in retaliation.
